Will PlexConnect work with two atv ?

I’ve tried it but not without the video buffering.not sure whats causing it maybe my server isn’t powerful enough

If the server is strong enough, yes!

Good, thanks guys !!

I have it working on 2 ATV.  Watching both at the same time.

here's my system  Mac Pro  2- 2.66GHz Dual Core  total 4 cores, 10GB memory. I share my server with 6 people.  There have been times when  me and 2 of the other people I share with are all watching at the same time with no problems. No buffer..

I have a tough question for any adventurous guessers out there....

What would be your best estimate for the max number of concurrent streams I might get using a current gen 2012 Mac Mini as the server?  I'm hoping for 8 streams as that is how many TV's there are... I just don't know if it's possible to run that many streams concurrently on the hardware.

2012 Core i5 MacMini with 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM.

HD content stored on a Drobo 5N (much faster device than the old Drobo FS)

Everything's connected through a wired CAT6 network (so no wifi ever)

oh, and it's all switched through a Gigabit Cisco SRW2024 (..an admittedly mediocre piece of network gear)

Are there any significant improvements in performance by updating to 9.8.2.82? Thanks

No... but by increasing available RAM.

I’m running AMD Athlon 7550 dual-processor 2.50ghz; 3 gb ram. And buffers on 1080p. Will upgrading the ram to 4gb(max) solve this issue and is my processor enough to handle 1080p content?TIA
