Hi all, in the process of trying to grab some clean logs for this (few other users using it), but wanted to see if this is a known issue.
Ubuntu 24.04.01 Kernel 6.8.0-51
Latest plex official docker
RTX 3080 passed through with nvidia docker “stuff”
Encoder shows, and if client requests transcoding off the bat, plex transcodes fine, and I see the task on nvtop with all the options showing, and if I request “Convert Automatically”, again, no issues, nvtop shows transcode running.
But if I start a show in a browser and it direct plays, but i ask it to switch to transcoding to a specific bitrate/quality, nvtop shows a quick flash of just “Plex Media Server” with no options, then it dissapears, and the transcode never goes again, playback ends up with spinny wheel. It’s also not really throwing any obvious errors, even with verbose/debug on.
Any initial thoughts (i know, not much to go on without logs)
