Ubuntu plex server can't find nas

So trying Ubuntu on old pc to use a plex server instead of a windows machine. Installed plex server using appstore not command line. All went smooth until I went to add libraries and there is no link to network folders, I am able to see the nas in the Ubuntu file directory - have searched all over to try and figure this out.
