Unable to access Live TV & PVR tab in App

I’m having trouble accessing the Live TV & DVR tab in my player app. The device is an Amazon Firestick 4k, and the server is local on the same network. The server is a custom build running Unraid, with Plex currently running with the latest version docker from Linuxserver.io. I can access all the libraries on the server with the Firestick with no problem. However, there is a yellow /!\ icon on my Live TV & DVR tab. Everything was working fine until today when I had to reconnect the cables after moving the server.

The strange thing is, if I am managing the server, I can go into the Live TV & DVR settings and everything looks normal. It identifies the correct tuner card is installed, and is setup with a guide, etc. I can even access the Live TV & DVR tab in the “web player” on the server, and it shows up all the shows that are on, etc. I was even able to schedule a recording using the “web player”. But whenever I go back to my Firestick, it all shows up except the Live TV & DVR tab (which has that /!\ alert). The error screen just says my server is currently unavailable, which doesn’t make sense if everything else is accessible.

I’m attempting a recording right now to prove the system works on the server side. The tuner I’m using has 2 available tuners built in, so even if one is recording the other should still be available (and yes, Plex detects there is 2). But I still can’t access it with the Firestick.

Things I have tried… I verified the server is the latest available version. I verified the Firestick has the latest version of the app. I completely rebooted everything (modem, router, server, Firestick). I uninstalled and reinstalled the tuner. I’ve also restarted Plex manually after reinstalling the tuner and downloading the new guide data .

I’m not sure what else to try. Any other ideas?

Ok… so I tested another playback device. My LG TV. I can now access the tab, but I still can’t watch anything. After a short while of “buffering”, I get an error:
“The file associated with this item is not accessible by the server. Please verify that the file exists and the necessary drive is available.”
Um… ok? The drive is definitely available. I don’t know what to do.

Latest update.

Completely reinstalled the DVB tuner drivers with the custom dvb/nvidia kernel for Unraid. Plex still acts the same. I can access everything properly from the server-side “web player”. When I try to access the tab on the Firestick, I get an immediate failure to connect. When I try the app on my TV, I get the same error, BUT I can somehow access the options along the top for “Guide”. The other options (“What’s On” and “Browse”) are not available, and give the error about the server being “currently unavailable”.

Somebody out there has to have some idea what’s going on. Please help!

Ok, I’m way to tired to continue messing with this. I may have solved the problem. Getting down to bare essential nitty-gritty solutions.

I went into the server’s “Authorized Devices” and removed the Firestick and the TV. I then re-associated them with my account, and now it’s working. I don’t know if this is the solution or not, going to go to bed and check tomorrow to see if it’s still running.
