my Live TV & DVR works fine if I use the PC Client or Web Client, but from my 4 FireTV’s i get " not available"
But the server is available for all other local Media. Movies, Music,etc., on the FireTV Only the LiveTV and DVR Section is unavailable

Fire stick said there was a update today and installed it went back to live TV and all of a sudden It can not play any live or any movies anymore my own media plays fine but nothing from the internet

Last night the App Updated to 8.6.0.20351 from 8.5.2.20133 and is now working. Thanks
none of the methods in that article worked for me could not get any logs
(would be handy if the app had the option in settings to just send them with a click of a button )
the only info I can give is no matter what everything I try to play which is not in my personal library gives me a message “the server is not powerful enough to convert video” funny it has been able to play ANYTHING till the last update it installed and I can not revert it to the older version which worked 100%
Plex works 100% fine on my phone,tablet, MS edge and Roku TV but not on my fire stick Since your new and improved latest version/update
Please tell how I can un upgrade this app on my fire stick as this one sucks lol
if that is impossible I will have to get rid of the app completely 
I updated to the latest version almost two weeks ago. Since then I have not been able to view live tv dvr on any fire stick or Roku device I have. I can view the channels on the pc where I have the Plex media server installed using the Hauppage dual hd tuner, but not through the Plex media player on any device. I have seen this same issue with others on this forum but I don’t see where Plex has stepped up to fix it. The live tv dvr feature is the main reason I bought a lifetime pass and now it is unavailable to me.
Update : Turns out that the issue I was having with not being able to watch live TV or live on demand anymore was because the update failed to properly upgrade my old app once I uninstalled it and reinstalled it works fine again aside from still having the crappy UI which is still a DOWNGRADE
BTW why do developers love dirty grey backgrounds and cal it dark mode ?
why would you not make it so we can choose which background we want ?
If someone wants the gui to be pink let them ,black let them,purple …
Live tv & dvr side menu item say no items to display and directory appears to be empty. On android it has 3 bottom menus recommended, guide, and dvr schedule. When recommended is selected it says directory appears to be empty. Guide works when selected. On firestick cannot select one of 3 bottom menus, is it stuck on recommended? Live tv& dvr works on roku, windiws 19 and androud phone in my house. Any ideas? Everything updated today.

Uninstalled and reinstalled plex app twice… 2nd time it works!
