Unable to add any ATSC3.0 stations to the Plex Live TV list

I’m trying to add several new ATSC3 channels to the Plex Live TV listing. I go into the section where I can edit the channels. The new ATSC3 channels are there, but unchecked. I select them and the appropriate EPG channel name. I then click on Save. But, these new channels are not added. When I go back to the edit channel list, they are back to being unselected. I also tried selecting the ATSC3 channels and then leave the EPG name black, but that doesn’t work either.

Is this a bug?

The ATSC3.0 specifications haven’t been finalized yet so Plex has not licensed and included support for the Audio. Even if you were able to map the lower station to the ATSC3.0 broadcast, the recorded shows currently would play with no audio.

The saving part might indicate a locked or corrupt DB.

That’s disappointing that Plex hasn’t included support for this yet.

My db isn’t locked and I don’t think it’s corrupt as I can add/remove ATSC1.0 channels without any issues.

ATSC 3.0 specifications have most certainly been finalized. Markets are converting to 3.0 now. The question is about how long to keep 1.0 alive.
