I am unable to cast from my ipad to my tv from plex, when i click the cast button the only device listed is the iPad I’m on, works instantly on YouTube but not Plex, am I missing something?
What TV do you have and what version of Plex is running on it?
hi, my tv is a Samsung EU40ES8000 and my app on it is 2.005 PMS version 1.1.42757-24ffd60
Also, if I look at my settings on PLEX on my laptop it shows the TV as a device in ‘settings’ but I can’t choose it when I press the icon for casting as the TV isn’t listed. If I go on YouTube on the laptop I just press on the icon and it casts to the tv as it should so I’m thinking there is nothing amiss with the TV ?

Version 2.005 of the Samsung app does not support being as cast target. This was added in 2.006, which should be available in the app store for 2014 and 2015 models.
