Unable to change subtitle size on Linux

Subtitles are very large by default and I’m unable to change them to any other size. I change the option in the settings and press “Save” but nothing happens even after restarting the application.

Same happens on Plex Web (4.93.3) inside Brave on Linux machine. I’m running arch linux, am I missing any font package?
