Unable to connect to Plex Server when Mac user not logged in

Running PMS on macOS Big Sur 11.2.3. Upgraded to a new Mac.

On the old Mac, I would always have to log in once after a restart to start PMS and then the server became available from all my devices within my network and remotely. When the Mac would “sleep” or I would go to login page of Mac where users are listed, PMS would still be available to my devices.

On the new Mac, I also have to log in once after a restart to start PMS. Only now, when the Mac sleeps or I return to login page, PMS stops becoming available. It is only available when I am actively logged in as a user.

From a security standpoint, I don’t want to have to remain logged in at all times to access the server. Any ideas?

Are your Energy Saving settings the same as the old one?

Double check all of your settings between the two and compare.

Same here. Something happened with the latest update. I have to go wake my computer to use Plex from my Apple TV now…
