Server Version#: 1.18.4.2171
Player Version#: 4.12.3
I’m performing a reinstall of Plex Media Server following a complete reblast of my Windows 10 machine. Following the install, I logged into the web player and saw my server listed with an exclamation point icon. When I clicked on it, I have a message that reads “This server is unclaimed and not secure” with a “Claim Server” button right next to it. I clicked the “Claim Server” button, and it “spun” for a few seconds, then nothing happens - the message remained and the button still read “Claim Server.” Clicking the button again does nothing.
I tried signing out and signing back in, clicked the “More” button in the left-hand pane, and I can see my server, but when I click it, I see a message reading “No soup for you! You do not have access to this server.”
Again, I’ve tried signing out/back in, rebooting, and reinstalling.
If anyone has an idea of what the problem could be, I’d appreciate an assist.
I also have a server that says “unclamined” now. But my problem is, I didn’t change anything!! I woke today to my 12yr old daughter watching rated R movies!!!
Ran downstairs to check who was streaming it (expecting it to be her on my account… maybe she saw me put in my pin, etc.) but it was an “unknown” user!
I have her account locked down pretty good.
I would HOPE and EXPECT an unclaimed server would break itself rather than “free for all” !!! Not cool !!
Not to mention I’m also having issues “re-claiming” the server for my account.
I don’t understand why no one is responding to this.
I also have a server that shows as unclaimed, and while I was able to reclaim it, I now show two servers, one not connected and the other (not primary) as working but with limitations.
And, I cannot remove the non working instance.
I saw something about rebuilding the data, and getting the unclaimed server working again, but I can’t find the instructions on how to do that.
Help from the moderators would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
