Since the install of the new version of the Plex client on a Xiaomi Android TV, I cannot read audio in the original format while I want to transcode video to 720p
If I select any other bitrate than original, audio is converted to stereo. I would like to force audio to never be transcoded and be able to set video to different bitrates according to the bandwidth.
That is not currently possible to do. You can only set the total bitrate.
but it was working before… setting 3mb bitrate i had 5.1 ac3 with medium 720p …

That would depend on the bitrate of the original audio. For example, if you set the quality to 3 Mbps and if the audio is 2.5 Mbps, you’d then get a 0.5 Mbps video stream. That’s going to look aweful. I don’t know the exact ratio, but it will try to scale the audio and video to maintain quality of both.
