Unable To Download Plex App For Android

I have an Android tablet running v.8.1. When I try to download the Plex app from Plex, Inc, I keep getting a popup telling me “Can’t download Plex…”. I can download other apps without problem.

Is this just a bad time?

Wouldn’t you download the Plex for Android app from the Google Play store… not from Plex’ download page?

I assume he just means the app is provided by Plex Inc. not that he downloading from Plex.

Sorry. I was not clear. I AM trying to download from the Google Play Store. When I referenced Plex, Inc, I was trying to convey that I think I was downloading the official app and not some other developers idea of a Plex app (if that even exists).

So, still, not able to download Plex app from Google Play Store.

If navigating to Play store by a Browser clear all temp files in that browser. Alphabet servers have had issues in recent time, so I can image the Play store has also.
