In addition to being less user friendly and having more steps to get to my own content, I am no longer able to go back to the previous episode from this new player, I have to exit the episode Im watching and select the previous episode. Choosing the option to go to previous episode is greyed out.
Going to the next file is ok? It’s only the previous that doesn’t work?
Yes, going to the next file is okay, and it will go back to episodes previously viewed during this session, but it wont go back to an episode I havent had open in the current session. So for example Im watching episode 3 of a show right now. I have ep 1 and 2, but cant go back to them without exiting to the library. I can go forward to four and five, and back to three from there, but not to one or two.
Thanks. I was able to reproduce. Looks like the play queue that gets generate only starts at the episode selected versus using the entire show/season and offsetting to the correct episode.
Thanks for the report, and sorry for the trouble. I can confirm that starting an episode from the season screen (the horizontal list of episodes) reproduces the issue. However, starting from Continue Watching includes the previous episodes as expected. Were there other ways you found to replicate the issue? We will file this internally so it can be fixed.
Confirmed. Hitting the play button from CW or other rows works fine. From the season page, doesn’t matter if you use the play button or the ok button, both result in the same broken queue. I can’t think of another way to start playback to test.
