Unable to locate any plexmediaserver config files

Hello - I recently reinstalled plex media server on my raspberry pi. However, I’m trying to find the plexmediaserver.service.d directory and its respective files.

I’ve looked in what I presume to be the default /etc/systemd/system/ directory, but I’m not seeing anything there…I’ve kind of looked in every directory i’ve seen mentioned on forums and wherever else…no luck…I’m a bit confused now, lol.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Use locate or find.

This?

Yes that is. But isn’t there a plexmediaserver.service.d in which that override file should be?

The directory isn’t automatically created as part of the installation. If you run systemctl edit plexmediaserver and make your changes, the directory and the override.conf file will be created. Otherwise you can manually create the directory and file and make your changes that way.
