Is there some reason you don’t want to install and use the computer program (not store app), Plex Media Player?
I am not aware of any real advantages the Plex Media Player (PMP) would give me over my current configuration.
Using the web gui suits my needs and complements the manner I use and work on my PC.
Adding another app to do essentially the same (or less) than the web gui, seems pointless.
The issue here is the web interface is not working as it should. I have highlighted the issue, plex should address it. I am unaware of any other avenue to have plex address problems with their products. Given the lack of plex involvement in these forums, I have little to no faith in these forums.
If there is another avenue to notify plex of bugs and issues, let me know.
