I have an Asus Transformer T100 which I have issues playing WTV files that I recorded using Windows Media Center. I don’t think it is an issue with my server because all of my other devices including other Windows computers and Amazon Fire TV sticks and Chromecast have no issues playing it. What happens is that when I press play, the video just says that it failed. Is there a particular reason why the transcoder has an issue when I use this player but never has an issue with another player? I have also tried using optimized versions or syncing episodes but they all fail. Shouldn’t optimized versions or synced version be converted to something my player can play?
Got it. At least WTV files work on all of my Android phones. Glad I don’t have an iPhone in this case.
