Unable to playback many items

I have a few firesticks, and a good portion of my media won’t play on any of them. I enabled logging on one of the devices and included the snipper below. The screen feed back simply says, “An error occurred while playback…” and nothing helpful.

Not a single response? I gave very detailed log messages from my firestick. Surely someone at Plex can help me out? I can’t use any of my firesticks right now.

There are about 10 threads dealing with it… yours is just another one of them.
Yours however, has the added attraction of a mile-long log snippet - that doesn’t mean much, other than a text-wall to be avoided (Psssst - ‘Pre-Formatted Text’).

I got my 4K stick going again by restarting the server.
Not everyone is so lucky, but it’s worth a shot.

I also recommend running the latest server and client version - that has fixed it for many others (I had the latest versions - and nothing, but music would play on my FireTV or my Android Mobile - both OK now).

You mean the exact error output from the firestick? Seems like that would be pretty helpful to me. I preformatted it.

I can’t just update the client on the firesticks willy-nilly. I need to wait for plex to release it to the devices.

Well, I need to try some more content, but I upgraded from 1.21.0.3608 to 1.23.4.4775 and some of my content is working again. Ugh!
