Unable to repair database

Otto

I have read through the various posts about repairing a corrupt database as well as looking at the instructions here: “P:\Plex Media Server\Plex” -sqlite com.plexapp.plugins.library.db “PRAGMA integrity_check”

I am running Windows Server with Plex 1.23.4.4712

I am unable to use the -sqlite or --sqlite on the command line. Since Plex no longer has SQLite3 installed and seems to be using it in a different manner, how can I run this repair of my database?

I am getting the following error: Plex Media Server unable to open its media database

Thanks so much.

Please read again: Repair a Corrupted Database | Plex Support

The command line is
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Plex SQLite.exe" com.plexapp.plugins.library.db "PRAGMA integrity_check"

Thanks I had tried that, I realized where the issue is. My database/plex install is on a separate drive and a slightly different directory. Once I accounted for that it is now running. Thanks for your help and support as always.

I followed the steps to repair the database and am still getting the same error. What are my next steps to get this working again?

Thanks

Try to repair one of the backup copies instead Restore a Database Backed Up via 'Scheduled Tasks' | Plex Support

If these fail as well, you will unfortunately have to start over and throw all Plex data over board.

I got past that error, now I am getting No content available, check your network connection and verify that any media servers are online.

My server is online and I have internet access.

Which error?

Where do you see the new error message?
In a Plex client or on the command line?

“Plex Media Server unable to open its media database”

After sitting for a minute eventually it showed the media image on the Home screen but then all libraries went grey with the Yellow ! meaning they are not available.

If the database restore doesn’t work then what are my next steps to get this working again?

Thanks.

I have tried everything I can think of to get this database working, it just appears to be beyond repair. How can i get a new database to get created? I tried deleting the blob.db and .db files from the repair steps and restarting Plex. That appeared to create an empty database but I was unable to even add a library. What could be going on?

Thanks
