Been using plex on my desktop for a while now and all of the sudden it closed and says that it cannot access the database and that it has a corrupt database. I’ve tried to go through plex’s instructions to repair which didn’t work. I tried deleting the database file as well, which didn’t work. I uninstalled, restarted, and reinstalled on a different drive and that didn’t work either. what happened and how can I get plex running again?
Note: The utility expects Plex Media Server to be installed in the default locations. If it is not, you will need to edit the BAT file.
REM These assume PMS is in the default location
set "PlexData=%LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases"
set "PlexSQL=%PROGRAMFILES%\Plex\Plex Media Server\Plex SQLite"
Example:
c:\Temp>DBRepair.bat
