Unable to update server to 1.18.2.2058

Server Version#: 1.18.2.2029
Player Version#: 4.14.2

I’m trying to update to 1.18.2.2058. I click the ‘Download Updates’ button and the progress bar finishes, then I click ‘Install Updates’. The server goes offline for a minute or two but when it comes back up it’s still on 1.18.2.2029 and prompting me to update again. Been through this loop several times.

I’ve tried deleting the update from Plex\Plex Media Server\Updates and re-downloading fresh but this hasn’t helped.

Any ideas?

I have the same issue… Watching this post.

Was a suggestion in the MACOS section to download and replace the application. I did that (have a MAC) and it did it for me. Not sure if it is the same for Windows but…

Same. Win10. Version 1.18.1.1973.

I’m having the same problem. I can’t upgrade from Version 1.18.2.2058 to Version 1.18.4.2171. it runs through the install, but at the end says same version already installed. I go back into plex and it’s still 2058. I’ve upgraded in place many times before over the years with no problems. this also made me lose local web server access. I can get to it from the Plex web site that reaches out to my server, but the local 127.0.0.1:32400/web/index pays says, not available. this is running on a Linux Mint 17.3 system.
