I have been unable to install server updates for some time. Whenever I try, I get as far as the “Grab a cup of tea” page, and it stays there. If I hit Retry, it loads up the same old version again, asking me to update. How do I update Plex at this point?
On which device is your server installed?
Win10 desktop PC.
Normally you should stop your server and download the new software and just install it

but in your first post you said your server version is 1.20.1.3252 that’s the latest one …
Sorry, that was a mis-paste - I must have copied the wrong text. It was 1.19.x.xxxx.

Did you move the location of your Plex data folder away from the default?
Nope, one day I went to update and it kept looping through the two views indefinitely. I guess the installation got corrupted or stuck in a loop somehow.
