Problem description

Unexpected error accessing specific music artist.

  • Accessing other music artists is normal, and errors only occur when accessing “队长”.
  • Accessing from Plex Web is normal, only Plex Mac encounters this issue.

Is that artist’s album a complication album?

How are you accessing Plex Web? app.plex.tv or ip:port? If it repro’s on app.plex.tv, it’s probably this: Music Artist with no album groupings results in an error - regression with 4.121.1 - #8 by Atomatth

In the artist “队长”, there is only one album, and there is only one song in the album.

  • Using IP access is normal
  • Using “app. plex. tv" access is error

It definitely sounds like the issue I linked then. From that post, a fix has been made, but it hasn’t made it to the public yet. A temporary workaround is to disable groping albums by type (mentioned later in that thread: Music Artist with no album groupings results in an error - regression with 4.121.1 - #18 by solstyce9).
