I now cannot play any media items on a Roku TV or a Samsung smart TV. I had no issues for quite a while but now I’m having this problem.
Upon choosing a media item to play, the client immediately gives ‘an unknown error has occurred’.
Works fine in Chrome and Android, but isn’t working on my televisions anymore.
I’ve tried disabling secure connections, enabling and disabling direct streaming, restarting PMS, restarting clients, uninstalling / reinstalling the Plex application on the TVs, disabling my DNS adblocker, using google DNS, Cloudflare DNS, hardwiring with a cable, WiFi, restarting modem and router.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Server is running remotely on an Unraid server in the plexinc docker container. Fully updated. Docker Hub
Appropriate ports are forwarded and is fully internet accessible EXCEPT on Roku and Samsung smart TVs
