Unified UI showing media and searchable across all servers user has access to

Hi,

Our company and home have been using plex server for many years now. We are lifetime subscribers. I was just wondering if there’s a way to unify the servers because there are many people in our company that do not know or do not want to search through the numerous servers we have to find certain media. Is it possible for the person watching to be able to see and search media across all servers and it shows up in UI in a unified way from all the servers that user has access to?

When you do a search have you seen the “Search all Servers” that pop up during the search?
That is exactly what it does.

This may or may not be on every client. I don’t own/use them all so I can’t comment on that, but you should check the clients you use. To check this out try the web interface which has it for sure.

It would be nice if the thumbnails and libraries have an option to show all consolidated media across all servers too.
