Universal Remote Control for PMP

Hello,

I recently bought two universal remote control devices to work with my PMP while running on W10, and neither one of them worked. They were good for the TV, but not for Plex Media Player; they would just not link at all.

So, since I came to the conclussion that I will not figure this out on my own, I am here asking whether anyone knows of any remote control devices that can be linked to PMP and work properly (and if they can be found on Amazon, then icing on the cake).

I am NOT interested in using a phone or a digital device to control the PMP; I like to feel the texture of the buttons and being certain which option I’m pressing without having to look at a flat screen.

Player Version#: 2.58.0.1076

I assume these RC’s are Infrared based, right?
Does your PC have an IR receiver?
If it doesn’t, you’ll have to plug one in. The FLIRC modules are still available.

Hahahaha Oooh do I feel dumb now! Yes, the remote is infrared based, and NO, the PC does not have an IR receiver :man_facepalming:
