Unraid transcoding says (hw) but iHD_drv_video.so init failed messages in logs?

Can’t tell if I’m hunting ghosts here. have an intel i3-3225. Trying to optimize some media and download some vids to iOS. Always fails… the only thing in the logs are the iHD driver video failing. I’ve gone through the steps to modprobe the i915 and when I play media in a browser or on a mobile device at not original I see transcoding (hw) on the video side but still getting spammed by these errors in the logs. I also see files show up in the transcoding session folder.

Is this something to ignore, or do i need to load (or pass thru) a driver to the official pms docker container?

That error is completely normal. The iHD (Intel Media Driver for VAAPI only supports Broadwell and later processors with Quick Sync.

Your Ivy Bridge processor is supported by the older i965 driver (which still supports VAAPI and provided hardware accelerated transcoding). You can safely ignore this error.

Thankya Kindly. Must be something else goofy with the plex download. Funny enough Infuse downloads just fine on iOS and the kindle fire has no issues downloading from my Plex. Something goofy w/iOS client is my guess.
