So on the home page you have recently aired recently added etc for TV shows, why not an upcoming? The contents of the upcoming library would be based on the folders (empty or not) within the tv show folder so as to be ONLY relevant in direct correlation to what you have?

You mean if I add an empty “Season 04” folder to a show I got in my library, Plex should display that as upcoming?
Only if metadata is available and say upto 2 weeks in advance so as not to be populated with useless info
