Upcoming Trailers visible (Unwanted / Needs Toggle On/Off)

There was a new “feature” added to the Android, Android TV, IOS players under movies whereby there is now a link in the sidebar (and subsequently display) for “Upcoming Trailers”. I’m guessing “(Plex Pass) Show movie trailers hub (#1947)”?

Unfortunately this displays trailers (with no respect to age ratings), even if all settings to Trailers is turned off (everywhere I can find)

Currently my Kids have their own “Managed User” account called (wait for it) “Kids”. We share a common Movies folder and I control what is displayed/what they have access to through the use of a label under shared folders called “OK4Kids”.

Hopefully this can be fixed pretty quickly as for now I’ve had to disable their access to movies.

I posted about this back in December. So far there is no fix, but it has been reported as a bug. Somehow there is no urgency though. To me this is a pretty big oversight.

Looks like it needs to be bumped. I’ll see if there is another method to get some attention/focus.

Went into “Movies” today to see if the recent update magically fixed and was unfortunately presented with a bunch of inappropriate images. One of which, being Hacksaw Ridge.

Parental controls in Plex Pass, are a feature of that subscription and should be enforceable.
