Just like the title says. I updated PMS to the latest 9.12.1 just now, and my aTV won't load the trailers application... What can I do to troubleshoot why the trailers app won't connect? I stop the plexconnect service (windows server) and the aTV behaves the same way - just immediately says "Trailers is unavailable. Try again later." Anyone have some pointers for me?
Edit: Server is a windows 2012 server. Plexconnect worked just fine on the last version which I think was 9.11.17. I tried downloading the latest version of plexconnect as well, but it's been a while since I set it up and it didn't make any difference either...
The connection to Plex from Apple TV has nothing to do with the server version - it is about PlexConnect. Have you made any changes to PlexConnect? Also if you run PlexConnect manually (from command prompt python [path to plexconnect]\plexconnect.sh) and try to access plex from your apple tv - what do you see in the command prompt window?
Turns out when I setup remote desktop virtualization on the server (just playing around) it took over port 443. Running the script via command prompt showed me the 443 was already used. Fixed that error so 443 was available again and presto - plexconnect started working like before. Many thanks!
(Now I just have to figure out the buffering problem with DD5.1 and subtitles turned on)
