I’m a bit surprised, considering a lot of time was devoted to this in the last roundtables. What are you trying to find out with this discussion? If there’s interest?
That’s a more general statement. There was an ask in here about NAS transcoding, hardware support, QNAP. So we’re going to talk a little about that. I included non-PC devices of capability of Shield/Routers and such was something anyone wanted to include (I recall that was brought up about that and the “why” behind going in that direction). I intentionally left out specific feature suggestions because it seemes folks wanted to discuss direction, background, etc (something that works well when its live video). Though the Open Q&A would be a good place to bring up a hot item, just don’t want to make these sessions all about feature suggestions. As with any of the items on the agenda, if there is more interest in one area, less in another, we’ll shift the discussion as appropriate. I’m all for making this fluid, just want to have some structure.
