Upgrade ideas?

Hey y’all

So i’ve been using a DS1515+ for a few years now and it works great but i get a bit nervous when i see 2 streams remotely being used (and transcoding) and the CPU pegs at 100% the whole time. I sometimes get user’s stating that it will buffer but this will only happen when 3 streams are transcoding at the same time. I’m wondering if there are any suggestions on a new NAS i could upgrade to that would handle 3-4 streams at any given time without spiking to 100% cpu usage. Also let me know if i’m just being paranoid and the cpu usage is fine.

Honestly keep your NAS and buy a little i5 powered NUC. Use the NAS for all the storage and run the server on the NUC. Any 8th gen i5 or newer powered NUC should absolutely blow your mind in performance. You should be able to get 10+ 1080p transcoded streams without even breaking a sweat. What’s your budget and maybe I can help find something?
