Why a company would shut down the feature that so many of their users rely on is beyond me!
With this new app Plex has released for PC and Mac, users can no longer use an interface designed for a TV screen, they can’t even navigate the app using a keyboard!! This is such a backwards step and a slap in the face to the users who supported Plex from the start.
Now we are being told to go and buy new hardware that will stream to our TVs but that doesn’t take into consideration people with WiFi issues, cable routing issues, lack of remaining ports on their TV or anything like that.
It’s frankly insulting and I hope that Plex reconsider this decision.
Please upvote this request and help the Plex development team see sense.

Plex together with Plex home Theater (yes, I even use this old thing) and my Logitech Harmony is the best setup and easiest to explain to any person in my household.
I don’t want to use a slow app and don’t want to invest in new hardware.
