On the Android TV version, it would be helpful if on the preplay screen for an TV episode if pressing Rewind/Left went to the previous episode and Fast Forward/Right went to the next episode. I often need to review the previous episode to make sure i watched it completely and from the pre play screen you can hit Left once and then select to get to the previous episode. But then to get back to the next episode, you have to hit the right button on the controller 5 times and then select to get back. Its a lot of keypresses to just move back and forward between episodes.
Also, pressing Play on the Pre Play screen should start playing the media
