hi, i have my plex server on a laptop and i want to show my content on 2 different networks, one connected by cable and the other by wifi. When I use one of them if you can see the content but when both are enabled it is not seen in any network, any help please?
what are the network IP ranges? Why are you running two networks?
Don’t use two different network connection on your Plex server machine.
Don’t switch rapidly between them.
(After changing the connection type, you must close Plex server, wait a few seconds, then start Plex server again [no, shutting down Windows and switching it back on doesn’t have the same effect] ).
Prefer a wired connection between your Plex server and your router.
The wireless conenction is usually handled by your router as well.
It will transparently route the traffic between your wired and your wireless devices – unless you have told it to separate these from each other. (sometimes called “AP isolation”, “guest network”, or similarly)
