User groups, sharing links, managing tools to other platforms

User Groups

The ability to group users to grant permissions would be amazing. Currently, if I want to restrict access to a certain plex library, I have to individually remove it from each user. The same goes for adding access to a plex library. Additionally, having groups where one can restrict the rating of the content they watch would also be very beneficial. Granted, most plex users probably don’t have 10+ users who have access to their library, but it would still be nice even with a small number.

Plex tv is if I am not mistaken also being used for business today to show online classes and other things … since some businesses don’t want their internal movies show on YouTube, twitch ect. And some companies use plex tv too show their new video they mak

Actually that’s probably not correct. Plex‘ terms of use are catering to private users and forbid a commercial use.

when you buy plex pass between google and iPhone, you should have to pay 2 times because you buy a new phone, some how that should be a work around, a Plex Pass is a Plex Pass.

Plex Pass isn’t limited to a single platform. I guess you’re referring to the one-time purchase you can do to unlock/activate the mobile apps (in case you don’t have a Plex Pass).

Yes it’s the Plex pass one time buy, so you can watch movies that you share from your Plex server. So they don’t stop every 30 seconds

When you have Patreon, x (old twitter) other places, where they don’t have so much room for videos, that as long they follow you or is a member of a group in Patreon or X or other apps like Facebook, they can see the movies, but if they stop doing it, they will be removed for the group you created for each service on your Plex server.

Not sure I fully understood what you’re aiming for…but this seems to be again about using Plex in a commercial setting which is specifically against their terms of use.

Also to bad, they will basically open up a new market and can earn a lot of money on it.
