First off, I want to say that I am pumped about the grid guide hitting Plex on Nvidia Shield today. Soooooo much easier than the previous style.
There is one settings tweak I would like to add and it applies to not just the guide but also the libraries in the Discover area across the top.
Make it so we can adjust the ‘Experience’ settings so we don’t have to go from Home Screen -> Guide -> Channels to see the guide, let us set a default. Let us select one of the ‘Browse’ options (Channels, Movies, News, etc…) as a default, or the current landing page as the default when we click Guide on the Home Screen.
Same goes for the Libraries at the top in the ‘Discover’ area. When I click on my Library, lets just say TV Shows, I don’t want to see all the recommended/on deck/recently aired/continue watching/etc stuff, I just want to see a list of all my TV Shows. Right now I have to go Home Screen, click on TV Shows, then click on All TV Shows.
I know it is just one extra click, but just like the guide, I shouldn’t have to do that extra click for no other reason than there is no option to set a default. My family would appreciate this as they constantly complain about it…
