Hi all - ive been trying to figure out how to plex to do the above… ive seen plex on a roku been used to stream TV channels from a service like 247tvstream.com (flash in a browser) but for the life of me cant figure out how to do it. I imagine it should be as simple as pointing it at whatever URL and with a user/pass???
… or do I have to setup a PLEX media server, have the media server point at whatever URL’s I want… and then set my PLEX app to talk to my media server??

^^^ this is how it works.
This is done with so-called ‘Channels’.
There are already some channels made for some websites.
There is also a kind of ‘generic’ channel where you supply your own links.
Do keep in mind though, that almost all channels are maintained by volunteers, and they often cease to work if the source website is changed.
