Using HiFi DAC with Raspberry

I’m running a Raspberry B+ with a HiFi Berry DAC+ and using Plex 1.6.2.123 (I think?) but don’t seem to have any setting to use the DAC audio out. At the moment I’m simply taking audio from my TV on an HDMI pass-through?
Suggestions?
