Freenas 11.2 Plex installation currently. Previous 11 1 iteration functioned normally EXCEPT Ozzie Osborne’s album showed up for way too many different artist album covers. So the dataset that contained all MP3 I’m referencing are the same files now also. (4,930 mp3 files)
In the “Tracks List” view, “Title,” “Artist,” “Duration” show up correctly but when I change to “Grid View” all files show “Various Artist” with an occasional “Unknown Artist” that I know is correct in the tag because I spent quite a bit of time months ago tagging incorrect files correctly and I was content in the previous Plex.
Likewise, if I choose “Artists” and “Albums” from the drop down box, it clumps all tracks into those two categories. (I have attached screen shots.)
If it was just a few irregularities . . . but is there a way to fix over almost 5000 problems?
“Your topic is similar to . . .” across the way here show this post: Plex Version 1.11.1.4730 Collections not showing from Jan 18 suggesting a difference between (I think) the regular app and the Plex Pass app. Freenas offered only the basic app but now in FN 11.2 there is the option for both and I chose the Plexpass one since I am a subscriber. Since FN is a FreeBSD based OS, would that be a problem? It took me all day to set Plex up with all of these files and many more Movie, Picture, TV, etc. files and the only problem seems to be with the Music stuff. I can delete that Library but it would be nice if someone has some sort of fix already before I repeat the same error.
BTW, everything else is functioning normally as far as I can tell right now.
