Will Plex be able to identify track artists in a compilation album in the near future? At the moment when requesting songs via Alexa I am unable shuffle artists due to Plex not recognising track artists.
Plus Alexa saying “Playing All Right Now by Various Artists” doesnt sound great.

In all other respects I can’t fault Plex. So I’m not going to get all arsey about it
Well its been a year now. I left Plex, tried Emby. Really liked the way they did the music, they showed other albums the Artists appeared on, including the compilation albums!! Which was great.
However playlists, and offline sync was terrible.
So I am back. Just wish Plex would focus a tiny bit of time onto the music side of things, I’m not after bells and whistles, but if Emby can do it…

Although my next worry is that i read that Plex have stopped premium music for Nivida shield servers…but i will see how that plays out.
That’s apparently because of technical issues on NVidia’s end. Word is Plex and NVidia are working on it. Plex pulled the feature until they can fix it.
