Very Bad transcoding Qualiy Ubuntu 16.04 100% CPU load

Server Version#: 1.13.5.5332-21ab172de
Player Version#: 3.67.1

I just switched from a Intel X3440 Server (running on ubuntu 14.04 to a E-1230 server (running on ubuntu 16.04 and ever since, watchable transcoding is not possible. Loads of artifacts and stuttering + 100% CPU load. Hope somebody can help.

I need:

  1. XML of the video file being played
  2. Playback settings in the client
  3. DEBUG only log files captured 30 seconds after recreating the problem.
    (Settings - Server - Help - Download Logs)

With these, I can look at what’s happening.

Its not specific to one File, all of the have the same issue. The weird this is on the less powerful Intel X3440 i could have 4-5 simultaneus 1080p transcodes.

PGS subtitles are always the hardest. They are a single-threaded operation.

Please enable transcoder DEBUG logging as well. I would like the see its reported progress.

I havent noticed PGS subtitles are enabled since none were displayed.
On my other server It automatically selects the srt subtitles and thats why I havent noticed any PGS problems I guess.

Also this time I got an transcoding error and the stream stopped.

So now every stream cancells after exactly one minute with the following message: “Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error.”
