Vevo & LyricFind Issues

Hi All,

I’ve recently set up a Plex Pass Premium Music Library as I transition away from iTunes Match, and I’m have issues getting content to populate lyrics and music videos.

I’ve checked the server settings, and the agents for both Vevo and Lyricfind are enabled for Plex Premium Music Libraries, but I’m not seeing a single track with lyrics or a video. I did see that it can take little while to populate through the library, and I’ve given it a few days, but nothing so far.

Which logs should I check to see if there’s any hiccups going on?

Also, FYI, I do have ID3 tagging enabled on the library as my tags were pretty well managed when I was using iTunes. Would this have any effect?

Lyrics I can’t speak for, but I think the Vevo stuff got deprecated due to some changes to how licensing & APIs work on VEVO’s end.

Correct, music videos won’t get automatically populated anymore. Lyrics should work. I do find that lyrics will only work for the original album the song came from. If you have a compilation album or a deluxe version or anything like that, lyrics may not appear.

Thanks all. Glad to know I’m not crazy. I’ll double check the lyrics. Sad to hear Vevo going away, but it’s definitely not a deal breaker :slight_smile:
