Video playback shows the buffering notification but videos are not buffering

Ok, so this problem just popped up randomly today. I’m trying to watch video on my Xbox One and the small translucent buffering box is showing during the whole video. Usually there is a spinning circle in the box when it is actually buffering, but that isn’t present.

It’s quite obvious that there is no buffering taking place as the videos play just fine. It’s just this annoying box in the middle of the screen that won’t go away. Anybody experience this before? Know how to get rid of it? I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled plex, but the issue persists.

if I remember correctly, there’s been a comment that they’re working on it.

Its due the fact that you are in the XB1 Preview Program

Just unenroll and the issue will go away

In the Plex App we have mitigated the issue in which some users are experiencing buffering.

I have two xboxes. It was on the preview one. Now its on both. Issue is not fixed.

its fixed as of 6:00tonight pst for preview members in alpha ring according to the patch noes that the head of the preview program brad wrote which he releases on his twiiter before every update
