XBOX One:
This just started happening over the past few days. After the initial buffering happens this box stays up for the whole show
this is a known issue (check out the Xbox forum… lots of complaints).
it turns out this is linked to the Xbox Preview releases… people over in the Xbox forum have described how to fix it (I’m not familiar with Xbox Preview myself).
As stated above, you are in the Xbox Dashboard Preview Program (likely in the Beta ring if you just recently got it, since Alpha has had it for over a week). Microsoft is aware of the issue and it trying to fix it, it is a listed item in their release notes.
The work around listed currently does not work anymore. I turned on DLNA on my server and have been watching via the “Movies & TV” app, it’s not as pretty, but has been working decent.
