Video Playlist Queue Changes

Did something change with respects to how the Playlist queue works?
Currently (8.27.1.29871), if you select and start a movie from within the playlist, when it ends it does not play the next in the queue. If I start by using the “Play” button at the top of the playlist, then it appears to work. This behavior is different than older version. I still have a 8.13.2.23227 version on a FireStick that appears to work as expected.
