Video_ts? What's going on?

I have a very big folder with live concerts, most in video_ts

 

How can i watch them with PlexConnect? I can see only the vob and of course can't select the specify vob ..

 

If it's not possible-Please make it be! It'll be so awesome!

 

Maybe you can do this with menus, when you play the video_ts it'll show menu looks like subtitle/sound menu when clicking play but will let you choose the other options like bonus videos and more .. And then by what chooses the right vob will play ...

 

BTW:

1. Anyone know plugin for agent that can scan live concerts?

2. Is there a format i can convert from video_ts with menus that will work? Like with PlexConnect and such ..

TS_video support is not going to happen, in fact it does not work on most Plex clients.

You are probably best converting them to MP4 ATV native files.

I actually did :) but only found discussions on converting or people who ask for it. Didn't really understand why ..

Essentially it is a legacy format, would take too much effort to engineer for on any of the Plex platforms (even on the desktop client it only works in some circumstances) and if is trivial to batch convert large librarys to H264/MP4.
The only downside is for those people who are really into extras but that is something they really need to look at on the PMS side, if they did eg provide an extras button we would look at supporting it (there is a limited extras folder and they support series 00 but it is a pretty poor substitute).
