Sometimes i have issues with plex and not recognising files or its just easier to view by folder sort.
Is there a way to sort by folder in plex for xb1?
No, folder view hasn't been added to the Xbox One application.

This feature would be a huge help for shows that plex has trouble detecting episodes correctly for (like 07-Ghost for example, which seems convinced that there are just 25 copies of episode 7, lol) or shows with special episodes with irregular numbers (SAO II’s episode 14.5 for example).
If all else fails, in most situations we can just use the default media player app on Xbox one to browse the plex server by folder, but it has its own limitations to deal with as well.
I agree this would be an excellent feature! It’s easy enough to change to folder view, but I’d like to have it default to folder view.
