I recently bought a new P-Series Vizio. I have been using the built-in Plex app since the TV can handle 4K HDR Hevc files via direct play. I watch a wide array of tv shows and movies and anime being some of it. most anime requires subtitles. so far i have been having to pause at the start of each episode and then navigate to the subtitle menu and enable them. which brings me to the reason im writing this.
Would it be possible for the Plex app that runs on Vizio TVs (and other brands) to map the cc (closed caption) button to toggle the subtitle menu automatically?
It could pop up the same menu that you navigate to. allowing you to skip steps of opening menu navigating to the menu then opening it, setting it, navigating back over to play.
Instead you would simply press CC then the subtitle menu would appear and give you the list of what is available. then you simply select the option you want by pressing the play/pause or OK button then the menu vanishes and the video reloads and plays.
