Watch together just starts. It doesnt wait for the other person to join. What changed? Been like this for at least 6 months.
Noticed this also. Had all manner of issues getting it working actually.
Would start playing immediately instead of waiting for the other person to join.
Play would not synchronize.
Play would pause or buffer for one person or the other.
One person pausing would not pause the stream for everyone.
Eventually got it working well enough to watch, but it took fussing and was frustrating.
Server and app versions are current. Hardware and networks are all more than capable.
