Hi all - just read about the new PlexVR feature, and I’m wondering, as ‘Watch Together’ is part of VR, could that feature also be made available without the VR piece? I know this has been a requested feature for a long time. Thoughts?

Yes, I really don’t understand why it is only available with VR, perhaps that technology has some difference to it than the media player? Also perhaps it is because you have to have the same system for use? I guess it could be that the only way to work is if the platform the Plex Server is on is the same as the one you are watching and the others? I really don’t know but just do it…

Yep, definitely want a “watch together” feature without VR.
Likewise, I would LOVE a “watch together” option that does NOT use VR nor require VR equipment.
So, PLEX, are you listening? Are you considering this?

This would be awesome. Would be very nice for road trips to be able to have the kids all watch a movie in sync, each on their own tablet.

I really want to bump this up. In light of Google dropping support of Daydream, there is now one less headset that is compatible with PlexVR.
Watch together is really a killer feature and would really a deciding factor for me in getting another premium membership.
